Wolf moon is a traditional name for January’s moon; Haikai Challenge #120 wolf moon. The township probably chose January to claw back the juniper shrubs bordering the road, as wood is brittle in winter. Road widening is their agenda.

An interesting Haiku and photo Janice. Much happening with the season but also the human interference is always raising questions. A lot more disappears when trees go.

Yes, many little creatures will have lost their homes. The roadside destruction has continued (increased) since I wrote this.
