My name is Janice. I started Ontheland writing about my new vegetable garden, food, and environmental issues. Since then, my blogging interests have evolved. I now find myself writing poetry, mostly in Japanese forms, such as haiku and haibun. One of my deepest interests continues to be the natural world: the joy of it and how we need to look after it.
Ontheland began in the Fall of 2010, but its true birth was in the summer of 2015. Since then it has become my outlet for writing and reading others who write, create, and observe the world. Thank you for dropping by!
