As spring approaches, water melts and freezes. These days my driveway is mostly ice thanks to balmy days and freezing nights. The kigo (season word) for this week’s Haikai Challenge is ‘waters of spring’.
I must admit I am not familiar with Haiku as a form. I will have to look into this more. I did like your drip. I am INTIMATELY familiar with this climate form. I was raised in the Adirondacks, and have lived for the past 35 + years Watertown. I’ve visited Kingston numerous times with my wife. Beautiful city! Greetings, neighbor. Enjoy your day!

Greetings 🙂 I’m glad you like the haiku and might give haiku writing a try. An article that might help you get started is here https://www.thehaikufoundation.org/edwall/higginson_guidelines_for_writing_haiku.pdf

It’s probably even colder tonight with dropping temperatures and high winds…

Stay warm, make sure the dogs are with you.

Yes we will stay warm and the dogs are always with us at night…the ‘big’ one beside the bed and the two small ones on it with us.
