Thank you, Denis. Mincemeat pies or tarts are rare these days, in my life anyway. A recent gift of tarts ( one of them in the photo) … the taste… sent me directly back to childhood. My father loved mincemeat and raisin pies and it was thoughts of him (long gone) that brought up my sadness.
