I do miss the colour and abundance of maple leaves underfoot that I remember most from my childhood. Where I live right now we have mostly coniferous trees. But opportunities to experience autumn leaves are not that far away…we’ll be out driving this weekend for Thanksgiving visits so I’ll be on the lookout.
