Grasshoppers can be harmful to certain crops but that’s not a concern here on my acre…but they have quite an active presence when I walk across the field these days.
Makes me think of younger days, when I went camping with family. Eastern WA has them in the sparse hotter climate. 🙂 sage brush and grasshoppers. A good memory 🙂

I like this, Janice. Walking through the dry meadows the brittle grass is full of them.

They’re like any temperate meadow, I suppose. Full of flowers as long as they’re treated right 🙂
