It actually emerged from a recent change in WordPress’s background colour on apps from a bright blue to a darker teal…I didn’t want to mention it at first to give people a chance to ‘get it’ or to make their own story. Since you just came back to WordPress the change may not have felt significant. Thus my excuse for letting my story out 😉
