Reminds me of an article I recently read in The Guardian stating that if we planted 1 Billion trees (and that’s without encroaching on farmland, we could remove 2/3rds of all the CO2 ever emitted by human beings within a generation.
Sounds like a lot of planting! I wonder if they factor in that we continue to chop down trees to build more roads, more housing, more shopping centres? Whatever the math, the more trees the better!

I’m guessing there’s the assumption that we’re not going to cut down any more trees that aren’t part of a managed forest. Otherwise what’s the point?
