spring-light – – haibun

In my corner of the world, spring progresses slowly. Grass is greening and mowers are being pulled out of garages. Bulbs show leaves above the brown debris of dormant flower beds and above…the blush of red, pink and green buds wash the sky.

Where else do longer daylight hours go?

  1. Wouldn’t do for us all to be the same. Glad your spring has sprung…..ours is now entering that middle spring where those initial flourishes of colour are fading, where green is now dominant but the signs of the next colour palette are starting to appear, all be it slowly now. 🙂
