some say
spring is here
the days stretching longer
all I see is white

The traditional spring kigo, ‘light snow’, in a tanka for Frank Tassone’s Haikai Challenge.
I wrote this on March 2 afternoon (yesterday) when it was snowing.

Personally I don’t care if the spring lamb is a black sheep…
I’m getting tired of all the snow! 🙂
And we have “Springing ahead” time wise to look forward to Sunday – Darker mornings, but more light lingering in the late afternoon, evening. Two weeks only two weeks the calendar says until spring 😀

Not looking forward to the clocks springing ahead… a few days of both snow and sub-zero temperatures here…oh well, I can feel spring anyway.

Haha, yes! That’s how I felt when we had snow in February!
