    1. Yes it has been very cloudy and I often find cloud cover when there is a special moon or other astronomical event. When I wrote the haiku I was thinking of how seasonal lights lift the gloom of darkness out here where there are no other lights. In the city it can feel like just more glitter but out here lighted roofs and trees are treats in long stretches of chilly darkness.
