transformation

gleaming snow mantle,

once soft feathers falling,

now a frozen crust

I wrote this haiku while pondering the invitation of Carpe Diem Haiku Kai Weekend-Meditation to write with ‘Yūgen’: mystery and unknowable depth. I took the photo about four days ago.
