There are many kinds of leaps…

There are many kinds of leaps:
of faith, credulity,
of imagination…
a leap off a cliff,
over a broomstick,
from shore to river stone…
from prose to poetry,
from draft to Publish,
from silence to speech…
To leap is to fly from your nest.

This 44-word tidbit is my offering for the first dVerse quadrille prompt for 2018: “leap”. Leap seems to be a fitting word for the beginning of a new year when we gaze at the possibilities that lie ahead.
