I took the course

ran the race, 

passed tests, and

as many times before, 

earned the certificate of completion.

Yet something was missing.

happiness—

      self discoveries

             on fresh path 

              each dawn, shift of light

              bird song changes key

                           ~  ~  ~

  2. Now that I like 🙂 It’s exactly how I feel this morning. Thanks very much linking to On the Road. The idea of writing haibun in new and creative ways appeals to me. I’ve been thinking about similar approaches.
