The other day I was surprised to discover rare white viper’s bugloss flowers. The second photo shows the most prevalent bugloss in its distinctive blue nearby.
I love that word bugloss. Just had to say it.

I like bugloss too…so many plant names are weird but this one is interesting. And the plant itself is so amazing to me… it has sort of a prehistoric feel…(I did another recent post on it with closer views)…
