Today felt like summer, though it’s only April and the daffodils were still closed. Every time I passed, I glanced at the swelling buds. Early evening came and I gazed once again—to my delight I witnessed a fully opened flower.

How striking to witness this opening in the evening and just like a star I imagine in the gloomy dusk! May tomorrow, although it still feels too cold to be so far into Spring!

Seeing the open flower at the end of the day was quite a surprise….and here May is opening with downpours (the poor little daffodils are drooping)

😟 Oh no, not downpours…although I’ve found daffodils to be mostly hardy to the weather tempests! Fingers crossed for sunshine for you soon!
