March moon will be full on Sunday (12th). The moon in Iva Castro’s photo is not quite as full as it was yesterday when I wrote this poem but its beauty was irresistible.

I love to see the moon during the day–and I love the thought of the moon drinking sunlight and the sun drinking moonlight. 🙂

It is a treat to see the moon in daytime 🙂

I agree. It’s kind of weird, but special.

what merril said! I also love seeing the moon in the daytime and I remember that as a child I thought the moon was a tricky creature, showing up in the day or night, as it liked.

Tricky moon is an entertaining thought…lighted by the sun it manages to appear on two stages while the sun only has one.

Yes, that is exactly what struck me when I was young, and no adult could ever explain it to me (or maybe took my question seriously in the way I meant it). So even now I love to see a moon in the daytime, reminds me of how many times I have seen the sight and still notice it.

Beautiful poem Janice and if Ivacastro didn’t play with photoshop then what a unique image.

Thanks Denis 🙂 You’ve got a good point there about photoshop….getting all those elements together in one shot would be unlikely.
