Ice sculptures

Ice

sculptures,

each stem

glassed

to a rod

of crystal.

Blings

a grey day,

melting to

 jewels

that sparkle

the night.

My photos barely capture the sparkle, especially at night…please imagine more.  I made up verbs in response to dVerse’s Tuesday Poetics: ‘Verbify me!’.

  1. I can definitely imagine the sparkle as we’ve had ice storms here that have left masterpieces. I read “sculptures” in the first line as a verb too, though I don’t know if you meant it to be? I really like “blings a grey day”.
