Color on sidewalks
Blazing leaves toasting the sky
Remind me of home

Ah! a moment of nostalgia. I live only a few hundred kilometers away from my former adult home (Toronto) and my childhood home (Ottawa), but the trees are different here—mostly evergreens—not the leafy types that display red, orange, and yellow in the fall. I do miss walking out the door and seeing autumn colors. Here I am surrounded by green and brown spruce—no colors unless I go for a drive on the highway where my eyes can feast on blazing landscapes.

At least you are blessed with such beauty around you. ☺…. there are people who just wander into their world … and make all this the part of their world. 👍..
BTW nicely written.

Vos poèmes sont tous très fantastiques.
I will not lie, it’s been ages for me to write, translate in the French, and I studied for 2 years in high school. I just wanted to check myself before I attempted a response in kindness. 🙂
