Angel wings paint the sky

Rays shine down from above

Clouds mottle, drama swirls

Watchful eye peers downward

Over parched yellow fields

Orange sun yields to dusk

Angel wings paint the sky
Rays shine down from above
Clouds mottle, drama swirls
Watchful eye peers downward
Over parched yellow fields
Orange sun yields to dusk.

Thank you 🙂 I ‘ve admired how a few people have incorporated photos that way so I had to give it a try.

I am not here to say anything more on the poem itself, but I am here to ask if you could if would take part in project Peace? There are many, many other writers/artists/poets, human beings that are adding our words..
We have 140 contributions to date, and I am trying again to rope in as many contributors to the Poets for Peace challenge (in place until this the end of August). The many voices in response to this have been fantastic, and I’d love you to add yours (again, if applicable) if you can. Feel free to use an existing piece of
writing or a new one asking for peace and/or about the troubled times in which we live.
If you are interested, please leave your poem in the comments section of Neha’s blog and it will be added.

Great ideas on how you presented your SkyWatch images this week. Love it! How original. Read the poem and it went right along with the photos. Enjoy the week-end coming up.

Just a super set of sky-scapes! My faves are the first [I love a good mackerel sky] and third [addition of the wooden trellis (?) added interst to the foreground] images. Kudos!

Thanks for your comments…I like ‘mackerel sky’ for the first one –(whether it’s your term or an expression).
