Thunder and lightning,
Summer celebrates its birth,
Applause from above.
∼
I’m glad I enjoyed summer’s first full moon over the last two evenings as tonight featured a major thunderstorm. There is a saying that when March ‘comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb’. I wonder what it means when summer starts off with a dramatic storm.
My haiku incorporates today’s Monday haiku poetry challenge prompts from Ronovan Writes: ‘birth’ and ‘cheer’ (applause).
