Purrs pulsate,
Eager paw punches,
Guides pats to
perfection,
At last, steady scratch rhythm,
‘Don’t stop, that’s just right.’

Fascinating poetry Janice. Is that one naughty boy peering at the camera?

Yes that’s Ozzy in his congenial royal pose . He is very particular about how he is stroked.

They are cute. The one in the foreground is the subject of the poem. 🙂

As a cat family member for 30 years, this one really struck a chord, and I love the picture, too!

Glad you liked it. The guy in the foreground is the one who is very demanding about how he is patted. The one in the background just relaxes and purrs.
